Chinese "Intelligence" Manufacturing Stuns at the Canton Fair
In the splendid autumn, the 134th Canton Fair arrived as scheduled, and Guangzhou once again welcomed guests from all directions. With the support of various trade delegations, Chinese foreign trade enterprises meticulously prepared and fully geared up, looking forward to expanding the international market and showcasing the charm of China's "intelligent" manufacturing to the world through this platform.
The current Canton Fair is divided into three phases, themed respectively as "Advanced Manufacturing," "Quality Home," and "Better Life." To better showcase the province's unique products and intelligent manufacturing capabilities, various trade delegations have proactively prepared in advance, making early moves.
The Ningxia Trade Mission has showcased its advantageous and characteristic products, including new materials, equipment manufacturing, and agricultural and food products, with the expectation of enhancing the visibility and reputation of Ningxia's distinctive products while converting more intention orders into actual cooperation. "In response to the new characteristics and requirements of this Canton Fair, we proactively conducted pre-exhibition training to assist enterprises in uploading products to the 'cloud exhibition hall,' inviting clients, arranging booths, printing promotional materials, and handling credentials, while also addressing any issues they encountered to ensure a smooth participation," said a spokesperson for the Ningxia Trade Mission. On the basis of strictly managing booth allocation and security, the Ningxia Trade Mission will also fully provide on-site services and post-exhibition follow-up after the fair begins, continuously supporting enterprises in securing orders and expanding markets.
The Jiangsu Trade Mission not only meticulously organizes special training and on-site guidance services for participating enterprises, but also conducts a series of matchmaking activities to alleviate their concerns. Additionally, it guides each trade sub-mission in assisting enterprises with product selection, booth setup, and negotiation strategies, aiming to win with "specialty" and attract with "innovation." Furthermore, the Jiangsu Trade Mission is committed to enhancing organizational service and support capabilities, providing more refined services in areas such as credential processing, accommodation and transportation, sample transportation, and booth construction. It also continues to improve the intellectual property protection collaboration mechanism, working with the Jiangsu Intellectual Property Office to ensure intellectual property protection during the exhibition.
The Guangdong Trade Mission has increased its efforts in specialized training for participating enterprises, conducting training sessions on pre-show warm-up, product uploads, intellectual property, policy support, booth usage, and credential applications. Additionally, it has coordinated with the main event to organize global trade promotion activities such as new product launches, trade services, green development, and R&D innovation, as well as the "Hao Bao, Hao Ni Explore Canton Fair" live-streamed showcase events, enriching information exchange for all parties. The head of the Guangdong Trade Mission introduced that to better implement various measures, the Chaozhou and Zhongshan sub-missions conducted on-site visits and guidance, proactively providing services to participating enterprises; the Dongguan sub-mission held preparatory meetings by townships and districts to guide enterprises in their preparation efforts, enhancing the effectiveness of their participation; sub-missions in Huizhou, Shantou, Jieyang, Foshan, and other cities also focused on Canton Fair preparatory services, participation guidelines, intellectual property protection, customs certification, and anti-fraud in foreign trade, holding preparatory meetings for the Canton Fair, inviting industry professionals to provide in-depth explanations, helping foreign trade enterprises to expand international markets through the Canton Fair platform.
During this session of the Canton Fair, in order to better showcase new products, technologies, processes, and solutions from China's high-quality enterprises to global buyers, various trade delegations have organized flagship enterprises to make their debut. "Tianjin has a company that has secured offline exhibition booths, setting a new historical high. This time, we focus on supporting enterprises that represent new forms of productive forces, especially those with potential in technology, manufacturing, and key foreign trade enterprises, to promote the transformation of new forms of productive forces into new foreign trade dynamics." said the head of the Tianjin Trade Delegation. In this session of the Canton Fair, Tianjin has new enterprises participating for the first time, all of which are high-quality enterprises with high export volumes and significant export potential. At the same time, there are 1,260 high-quality enterprises including national and municipal specialized, sophisticated, and distinctive enterprises, single champion manufacturers, high-tech enterprises, and time-honored Chinese brands, accounting for 40.5%, an increase of 2.2 percentage points over the previous session, with the structure of participating enterprises continuously optimized.
In terms of exhibits, Tianjin enterprises have actively adjusted their strategies based on the target market demand, leveraging their strengths in traditional fields such as bicycles, silk flowers, carpets, and hardware products, while also developing new products with independent intellectual property rights. In terms of market expansion, while consolidating traditional markets in Europe and America, Tianjin enterprises are also actively exploring emerging country markets. It is reported that the Guangdong delegation has more than new participating enterprises this time. "We focus on the province's characteristic and advantageous industries, prioritizing booth allocation for manufacturing enterprises, supporting new and promising enterprises with potential orders, especially those advanced manufacturing and technology-driven industries such as high-tech, specialized and sophisticated, and single champion enterprises that either have no export volume yet or have not yet met the export quota criteria," said the head of the Guangdong delegation.
It is understood that during this Canton Fair, the Guangdong Trade Mission organized a group of enterprises with independent export brands, high technological content, and in line with the trend of low-carbon environmental protection, reflecting more of the new quality of productivity, continuously optimizing the structure of participating enterprises. To promote the relatively concentrated exhibition display, each sub-group of the Guangdong Trade Mission unified the local participating enterprises and product logos, setting up the "Guangdong High-Quality Products" logo in characteristic and advantageous industrial zones such as electronic information, household appliances, lighting products, and kitchenware, to collectively showcase the overall image of "Made in Guangdong" and "Created in Guangdong".
The Jiangsu Trade Delegation not only showcased multiple new products for the first time but also brought along a large number of high-tech enterprises, specialized and innovative "little giants," single champion enterprises, and other advanced manufacturing companies to the exhibition. Notably, Leike Electric Co., Ltd., which won the Design Innovation Award at the last Canton Fair with a multi-functional floor washer equipped with an industry-first high-power waterproof brushless motor, will exhibit multiple products at this year's fair, including vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, water purifiers, and several new products that are debuting and being globally launched, such as fully automatic home coffee machines. "For some of our new products, we hope to reach cooperation intentions with buyers at this Canton Fair, laying the foundation for achieving our growth targets for the next year," said a confident representative from Leike Electric Co., Ltd.
