From [Date] to [Date], the Fifth Membership Conference of the Second Session of the Metallurgical Equipment Branch of the China Iron and Steel Industry Association was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. The theme of the conference was "Focusing on New Productive Forces to Promote the Upgrading of Metallurgical Equipment." The conference aimed to enhance the promotion and application of the latest research achievements, cutting-edge technologies, and innovative experiences in metallurgical equipment, thereby boosting new momentum for the high-quality development of the steel industry.

Luo Tiejun, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the China Iron and Steel Association, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. In his speech, Luo Tiejun introduced the operating conditions of China's steel industry since the beginning of this year and shared his thoughts on the current and future development trends of the steel industry. He believed that in the past two to three years, while facing a slow decline in demand, China's steel industry has explored the industry's autonomy and synergy in organizing production based on supply and demand balance, alongside technological innovation, cost reduction and efficiency improvement, and green and low-carbon development. Only in this way can a healthy market economic system be truly formed. He stated that China's steel industry has transitioned from an incremental development stage to a stock optimization stage, and the path of scale expansion has reached its limit.

Speech by Wu Dongming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Hanggang Group. In his speech, Wu Dongming introduced that equipment, as the foundation of enterprise production and manufacturing, plays a crucial role in the high-quality development of enterprises. In recent years, the state has vigorously promoted new industrialization and the accelerated penetration of new technologies such as technology, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things. With a focus on safety production, digital transformation, intelligent upgrading, and flexible development, significant efforts have been made to update equipment and transform technology, greatly enhancing the capabilities of enterprises in safety production, intelligent manufacturing, product quality, and economic operation.

Xue Jun'an, President of the Metallurgical Equipment Branch and Deputy General Manager of HBIS, delivered a work report. In his report, Xue Jun'an outlined the main activities of the Metallurgical Equipment Branch since the beginning of the year, including the orderly advancement of equipment renewal, the enhancement of equipment management benchmarking, the continuous improvement of branch service quality, the promotion of joint reserve and joint maintenance of spare parts, the advancement of independent innovation in metallurgical equipment, and the strengthening of professional group management. He also summarized the main achievements of the member enterprises of the Metallurgical Equipment Branch over the past year, including new improvements in equipment management, new paths explored in green and low-carbon development, new progress in energy conservation and emission reduction, new breakthroughs in intelligent operation and maintenance, new steps taken in digital transformation, and new fruits borne in technological innovation.

The meeting announced that, after deliberation by the President's Office of the Metallurgical Equipment Branch of the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, it has been decided that the annual meeting of the Metallurgical Equipment Branch of the China Iron and Steel Industry Association will be hosted by CISDI and Taier Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.

In the keynote speech session, Jin Jinwen, Deputy General Manager of Ningbo Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech titled "Production and Operation Management Based on Digital Control Platform," introducing the construction and implementation results of Ningbo Iron and Steel's digital intelligent control platform, covering aspects such as production benefits, management benefits, and social benefits.

Li Junhui, Deputy General Manager of Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel Company of HBIS Group, delivered a keynote speech titled "Green, Intelligent, and Efficient: Paving the Future Path of New Quality Productivity for HBIS Shijiazhuang Steel," sharing the advantages and measures of HBIS Shijiazhuang Steel in building a dream factory for special steel, and introducing the latest progress of the enterprise in promoting green and low-carbon development, as well as digital and intelligent development.

Lv Pengfei, Sales Manager of the Metallurgy Division at the Marketing Center of Shenyang Blower Works Group, delivered a keynote speech titled "Green and Low-Carbon System Solutions for Metallurgical Compressor Equipment," in which he introduced the technical exploration and practices of Shenyang Blower Works Group, as well as their thoughts on hot topics in the metallurgical industry in the new era.

Hao Xiaojing, Chief Engineer of Qin Ye Group, delivered a keynote speech titled "Green + Intelligent Metallurgical Vehicles Driving the High-end Development of the Steel Industry." In her speech, she introduced the application scenarios and characteristics of green and intelligent metallurgical vehicles, including new energy transportation vehicles, intelligent steel pouring cars, and new torpedo ladle preheaters, as well as key smelting process and equipment upgrade and transformation cases.

Zhejiang Feida Environmental Science & Technology Co., Ltd. Deputy General Manager Zhao Lin delivered a keynote speech titled "Engineering Practices in Pollution Reduction and Carbon Emission Reduction in the Steel Industry," introducing the evaluation indicators for pollution reduction and carbon emission reduction in various aspects of China's steel industry, including organized ultra-low emissions, unorganized ultra-low emissions, monitoring and monitoring levels, environmental management levels, clean transportation, and transportation supervision.

Pan Congyuan, Chief Technology Officer of Hefei Jinxing Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech titled "Online Detection Technology for Material Composition in Ironmaking Process," analyzing the online composition detection needs in the ironmaking process of the steel industry and pointing out the shortcomings of the current industry composition detection status and corresponding solutions.

On the morning of the [month] [day], before the start of the general membership meeting, the fifth council meeting of the second session of the Metallurgical Equipment Branch was convened, where the annual membership fee revenue and expenditure report and the annual membership fee expenditure budget report were reviewed and approved. Additionally, a proposal to admit Zhuzhou National Engineering Research Center for Power Conversion Technology Co., Ltd. and other [number] units as new members was approved. The election of Hu Jiaxi, Zhao Ruiqing, Lin Jian, Zhao Xiaohui, Mi Liping, Zhang Chengbin, Zhu Guanghong, Li Junhong, Guo Wei, Hong Rongyong, Chen Qirong, Zhou Xikang, Ding Bichun, and Wang Ximin as council members of the second committee, and the election of Zhang Chengbin, Zhu Guanghong, and Wang Ximin as deputy secretaries of the Metallurgical Equipment Branch, as well as the election of He Tianqing, Li Junhong, Guo Wei, Hong Rongyong, and Ding Bichun as vice presidents of the second committee, were all conducted through a show of hands.

Simultaneously, the conference featured an exhibition of achievements in metallurgical process equipment, automation control and equipment, safety, energy conservation, environmental protection technology and equipment, and metallurgical equipment and spare parts.
