On the date, the Global Digital Commerce Conference opened in Shanghai. The conference, jointly organized by the Shanghai Data Group and the Shanghai Digital Commerce Association, with support from the Shanghai Municipal Data Bureau and the People's Government of Pudong New Area, is themed "Connecting the Global Digital Economy, Commerce for the Future - 'Chain'ing the New Future of Digital Economy," focusing on the innovation of blockchain technology and application scenarios.

Shanghai has been actively promoting the efficient and compliant circulation and utilization of data to empower the real economy, coordinating data development and security, addressing bottlenecks and difficulties in data circulation and utilization, fully tapping the potential of data elements, and driving changes in production, lifestyle, and governance through urban digital transformation. In recent years, the foundation for data element circulation in Shanghai has been continuously strengthened, initially establishing a "blockchain + privacy computing" digital infrastructure capable of supporting high-concurrency scenarios. The added value of the core digital economy in the city has exceeded 100 billion yuan annually.

This conference aims to enhance international data exchange and cooperation, establishing year-round collaboration mechanisms with international organizations such as the Hong Kong Data Commerce Association, the Singapore Business and Technology Association, the German International Data Space, and the International Data Governance Association. The goal is to build a "circle of friends" for industry chain cooperation and exchange, supporting local data merchants to "go global" and aiding global data merchants to "enter the local market," thereby promoting international cooperation in the digital economy and providing new impetus for economic and social development.

At the meeting, the first-of-its-kind national data group equity organization—the National Data Group Alliance was established, strengthening cooperation among data enterprises across provinces and cities, and accelerating the development of the data element industry. Additionally, typical blockchain scenarios, the China Financial Climate Index, the "Development Report of Local State-owned Data Platforms (Groups) Nationwide," the "White Paper on Zero Data Trustworthy Data Space Products," and the "Major Disease Data Product Line" were launched at the event. These series of achievements fully demonstrate the conference's positioning and goals of actively becoming a showcase platform for digital economy development achievements, an innovation platform for linking the digital merchant ecosystem, and a communication platform for international data cooperation.

In the future, Shanghai will further promote the sharing and opening of public data, innovate in the development and utilization of public data, build a favorable "digital merchant" ecosystem, and drive the construction of an international data center.
