A man named Atsunobu Usuda, aged [age], who resides in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, threw a Molotov cocktail at the headquarters of Japan's Liberal Democratic Party in the early hours of the day and drove a vehicle to crash into the perimeter fence of the Prime Minister's residence.

According to information from relevant sources, the individual was wearing protective clothing during the commission of the crime. Additionally, this person has previously been involved in activities opposing the restart of nuclear power plants.

The Public Security Bureau of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the motives behind Usuda's actions.
