The Jiangyin Public Security Bureau immediately dispatched police to the scene to begin work and took control of the suspect, Su某某 (male, 30 years old), bringing him back to the公安机关 for interrogation. Su某某 confessed to his criminal activities of acting as an intermediary through online platforms to facilitate baby transactions and obtain illegal profits. It has been established that on a certain date in the year, Li某某 (female, 25 years old, working in Jiangyin from another province) gave birth to a son but was unable to raise him, so she asked her cousin's husband, Xue某, to post information online to find adoptive parents. Su某某 saw this information and contacted Feng某某 and his wife from another province who were looking to adopt. They conducted the transaction in person in Jiangyin on the evening of a certain date. The公安机关 quickly formed a special task force to travel to the other province, where they, with the assistance of local公安机关, arrested Feng某某 and others who had bought the baby and safely rescued the trafficked infant.
