Xi Jinping emphasized that next year marks the anniversary of the United Nations' establishment and the victory anniversary of the World Anti-Fascist War. As permanent members of the UN Security Council and major world powers, China and Russia need to deepen comprehensive strategic cooperation, enhance communication and coordination within multilateral frameworks such as the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, promote a correct view of World War II history, firmly uphold the international system centered on the United Nations, jointly maintain global strategic stability, and safeguard international fairness and justice.

Xi Jinping pointed out that the BRICS cooperation mechanism is the most important platform for the unity and cooperation of emerging market countries and developing countries in today's world. China highly commends Russia's efforts as the chair country for the work done for this BRICS leaders' meeting. It looks forward to in-depth discussions with the BRICS leaders on the future development of the BRICS cooperation mechanism, promoting the consensus of all parties, sending positive signals of unity and cooperation, advancing strategic coordination and practical cooperation in various fields among BRICS countries, and striving for more new opportunities for the global South.
