On the date in local time, a truck crashed into a bus stop at a junction in the Gililot area north of Tel Aviv, Israel. The Israeli emergency services reported that several people have been hospitalized, with some in critical condition.

According to preliminary investigation by Israeli police, at the time of the incident, a bus was parked at the station, preparing to let passengers disembark, when a truck collided with the station. The Israeli side reported that the truck driver had been killed.

Eyewitnesses at the scene said that many pedestrians were dragged under the truck after the incident, and medical personnel are providing initial treatment to the injured, some of whom are still trapped under the truck. The Israeli police said that an investigation into the event is underway.

According to Israeli media citing police sources, the police suspect it to be a terrorist attack. The report states that the Glilot area is the location of the headquarters of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad, as well as several intelligence units of the Israeli Defense Forces, including the Signal Intelligence Group.
