On a certain date, the China Baowu and the People's Government of Yunnan Province signed a framework agreement on deepening reform and development cooperation in Kunming. According to the agreement, both parties will work in the same direction to jointly promote the reform and development of enterprises. Baowu will fully leverage its advantages in management, technology, talent, and brand to support Wukun Co., Ltd. in gradually becoming a steel enterprise with a complete industrial chain, smooth operations, and strong competitiveness.

Wang Ning, Secretary of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress; Wang Yubo, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor; Qiu Jiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary-General of the Provincial Party Committee; Hu Wangming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited attended the signing ceremony. Wang Hao, Vice Governor of Yunnan Province, and Hou Angui, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited, signed the framework agreement on deepening reform and development cooperation on behalf of both parties.

Hu Wangming expressed gratitude to the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government for their long-term support and assistance to the various efforts of Baowu. He stated that as a state-owned central enterprise, Baowu has always regarded serving national strategies and enhancing core functions as its mission and responsibility, actively taking on national regional development strategies, leveraging industrial advantages, promoting cooperation between central and local governments, and contributing to local economic and social development. The signing of this cooperation framework agreement marks a further deepening of cooperation between the two parties, entering a new stage of reform and development, which is conducive to further clarifying boundaries and achieving the unity of responsibilities, rights, and interests. He believes that through the joint efforts of both parties, Kunming Iron and Steel Holding and Wukun Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. will achieve sustained, healthy, and high-quality development.

Wang Ning expressed gratitude for the positive contributions made by Baowu to the economic and social development of Yunnan Province over the years. He said that Baowu has provided significant assistance, whether in industrial development or targeted poverty alleviation, and the people of Yunnan will not forget this. Baowu is the world's largest steel enterprise and one of the most advanced companies in China, with strong technical and managerial capabilities. He believes that through the joint efforts of both sides, they will surely inject strong momentum into the future development of Kunming Iron and Steel Holding Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. The Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government will continue to unreservedly deepen the cooperation between the two parties and support the reform and development of the enterprises.

At the signing ceremony, Huang Xiaorong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Yunnan Provincial Government and Director of the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and Gao Jianbing, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Baowu, signed the relevant agreements on behalf of both parties. Wang Xueqin, Secretary-General of the Yunnan Provincial Government and Director of the Provincial Science and Technology Department, presided over the signing ceremony. Also present were Xu Changjiang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Yunnan Provincial Government and Director of the Provincial Party Committee Office; Feng Hao, Deputy Secretary-General of the Provincial Government; Zhu Yonghong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chief Accountant, and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Baowu; and representatives from relevant committees and departments of Yunnan Province, as well as heads of Baowu's business development departments, headquarters functions, and subsidiaries.
