The National Women's Household Service Professional Skills Competition, co-hosted by the All-China Women's Federation, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, and the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, opened on a certain date in Hefei, Anhui Province.

It is understood that the National Women's Household Service Professional Skills Competition has been included in the national industry professional skills competition plan. This marks the first time that household service professional skills competitions have been elevated to the platform of a national-level first-class competition, signifying a new height in the development of the household service industry.

Li Yongge, Member of the Party Group of the Ministry of Commerce and Deputy Representative for International Trade Negotiations, stated in his opening speech that cultivating more high-quality and highly skilled talents is an effective measure to expand household services consumption. The Ministry of Commerce will work with relevant departments to actively improve support policies, promote the upgrading and expansion of the household services industry, drive the expansion of household services consumption, and facilitate the standardized development of the industry.

This competition features four contest categories: Elderly Care Attendant, Maternal and Infant Care Attendant, Housekeeper, and Organizing and Storage Specialist, as well as two showcase categories: Home Care Trainer and Home Care Manager. Over 31,000 contestants participated in regional preliminary rounds nationwide, with 758 advancing to the national finals. All provinces, regions, municipalities, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps fielded teams for all events, achieving the goals of enhancing training through competition and improving quality through competition.

The competition venue also released the group standard "Evaluation of Women-Led Home Care Service Institutions" and the Women-Led Home Care logo. During the competition, a large-scale integrated media publicity campaign titled "Women-Led Home Care Moving Forward" was conducted simultaneously, showcasing the achievements of Women-Led Home Care in an all-round and three-dimensional manner, creating a favorable social atmosphere for promoting the healthy development of the home care service industry.

In recent years, women's federations at all levels have taken proactive actions, vigorously promoting the development of women's domestic services as a crucial measure to boost women's employment and income, serve the elderly and children, and assist families in resolving difficulties. This effort has involved advancing digital services and the "one place, one product" initiative, nurturing and supporting women's domestic service enterprises (organizations), training millions of employees annually, and helping millions of women find employment in the domestic service sector. Additionally, significant progress has been made in bringing women's domestic services to communities, establishing nearly 10,000 service sites in communities, aiming to bridge the final 100 meters of domestic service delivery and bring these services to every household.
