Jiangsu clarifies: Age relaxation!
Annual provincial government (unit) civil service recruitment examination registration is currently underway. It is reported that provinces including Sichuan, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Tianjin, and Jiangsu have released their provincial examination announcements, with public subject written tests scheduled to be held on the same day. Registration is ongoing this month.
In this year's provincial civil service examination, many provinces have adjusted their recruitment plans to favor recent university graduates and those working at the grassroots level. Upon review, it was found that the age requirements for some provincial examinations have been relaxed—for example, in Jiangsu, applicants must be aged 18 or above and below 35 (born between January 1988 and January 2005). However, recent graduates with a master's degree or higher from regular universities and those applying for positions aimed at outstanding village (community) Party secretaries (directors) can have their age limit extended to below 40 (born after January 1983).
Shanghai has clarified that for applicants aged between 24 and 30 (born between January 1993 and December 1999), the age limit for current master's and doctoral students has been relaxed to 30 years old (born after January 2000). For those applying for positions in the trade union and women's federation systems within the full-time cadres of the workers', youth, and women's organizations, the age limit has been relaxed to 35 years old (born after January 1995).
Zhejiang specifies that applicants must meet the age requirement up to the age of (born between January and December , same below). For postgraduate students or above who are recent graduates, the age requirement is up to the age of (born between January and December ). For positions at township (subdistrict) offices targeting outstanding village officials, the age requirement is up to the age of for current village "two committees" heads, with a recognized secondary technical school or high school diploma or above.
The conditions for applying in Shandong Province state that applicants must be at least one year old and under one year old (born between January and January ). For current year master's and doctoral students applying, the age limit is relaxed to under one year old (born after January ).
