On the date, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Nansteel-affiliated ultra-pure iron powder pre-sintered material project was held at Jin'an Mining. This project is the first production line in China to use ultra-pure iron concentrate as raw material for producing pre-sintered materials for permanent magnet ferrite. Participants at the ceremony included Zhang Ye, General Manager of Anhui Longci Technology New Materials Co., Ltd., the project's cooperative partner; Li Junfeng, General Manager of China Huaye Anhui Mining Branch, the project's contractor; and the leadership team of Jin'an Mining, the project's owner.

Permanent ferrite, as a crucial material, boasts high magnetic permeability, high magnetic saturation induction, excellent corrosion resistance, and temperature stability, making it an ideal choice for devices such as motors, generators, magnetic sensors, magnetic storage devices, and magnetic adsorbers. The pre-sintered material for permanent ferrite is a key component in the production process of permanent ferrite materials. It offers multiple advantages, including lowering sintering temperatures, enhancing magnetic properties, and ensuring product quality.

The project for the production of ultra-pure iron powder precursor for permanent magnet ferrite, jointly developed by Jin'an Mining and Long Magnetic Technology, a leading enterprise in the domestic magnetic materials industry, and constructed by China Huaye Anhui Mining Branch, is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in the first half of the year. Prior to the commencement of the project, Jin'an Mining established a laboratory for the precursor of permanent magnet ferrite, independently completing the research and development at the laboratory stage. The project involves multiple processes including raw material slurrying, fine grinding and mixing, high-temperature sintering, and crushing and packaging, to produce high-quality precursor materials for permanent magnet ferrite, meeting the growing market demand for new iron-based materials.

The project of pre-sintered materials for ultra-pure iron powder with permanent magnet ferrite is a concrete manifestation of Nangang's efforts to accelerate the cultivation and development of new productive forces in the field of new materials.
