At today's press conference, Colonel Cai Yongtao from the Naval Equipment Department introduced that the avionics systems, weapon systems, and mission payloads of the J- and J- have been significantly upgraded. Additionally, "In recent years, technological advancements around the aircraft carrier platform have also been upgraded. To accommodate the aircraft carrier, the takeoff and landing capabilities and power configurations of the J- series aircraft have undergone landmark upgrades."
