Since the beginning of the month, temperatures in many parts of central and eastern China have been higher than the average for the same period in常年. However, the arrival of a strong cold air mass is reversing this warmer weather pattern. Yesterday, the leading edge of the cold air crossed the Yangtze River, and today the cold air continues to move southward.
