Regarding the upcoming talks between the United States and Russia in Saudi Arabia on the Ukraine issue, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated at a regular press conference that concerning the Ukraine crisis, China has always believed that dialogue and negotiation are the only viable way to resolve the crisis, and consistently advocates for peace and promotes talks. China welcomes all efforts dedicated to peace, including the consensus on peace talks reached by the US and Russia. At the same time, China expects all parties involved and stakeholders to participate in the peace talks process at an appropriate time.
