The world's first compressed natural gas (CNG) carrier set sail from Qidong, Jiangsu Province on March 23. It will go to Indonesia to serve the transportation of natural gas between the islands of the country's peaking power plant, and transport up to 700,000 cubic meters of compressed natural gas per voyage.
