The Emergency Management Bureau of Linfen City, Shanxi Province recently released the "Investigation Report on the" November 24 "Major Collapse Accident of No. 2 Head Room of Yongxin Railway Special Line Collection Station of Anze Shanxi Yongxin Tonghai Railway Logistics Co., Ltd.", which determined that it was a production safety liability accident and 46 relevant responsible persons were held accountable.

At 21:59 on November 24, 2023, during the concrete pouring process of No. 2 head room of the raw material coal shed of the coal blending system of Shanxi Yongxin Tonghai Railway Logistics Co., Ltd. Yongxin Railway Special Line Collection Station Construction Project, a formwork support system collapsed, resulting in 7 deaths and direct economic losses of approximately 19.4671 million yuan. The Shanxi Province Safety Committee put the accident under supervision.

according to the investigation:This accident was a large collapse production safety liability accident caused by lack of construction safety management and insufficient bearing capacity and stability of the formwork support system. The project unit did not implement the safety production responsibility system for all employees, safety inspections were just a formality, and the quality of steel pipes, rotary fasteners, cross fasteners and other materials was lower than national standards.

In accordance with relevant laws, regulations and party and government regulations, put forward suggestions on handling the personnel and responsible units involved in the accident:It is recommended that 9 people be transferred to the judicial organs, 26 public officials be punished with party and government discipline, and 5 accident-related enterprises and 11 relevant responsible personnel be punished for violations of laws and regulations.
