In 2023, Shaanxi Province's annual raw coal output will be 761 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%, accounting for 16.3% of the country's coal output, ranking third among coal-producing provinces in China.

日前召开的陕西省煤炭工业协会第四届理事会第三次会议透露，2023年，陕西省全年原煤产量761 million tons ，同比增长2.3%，占全国煤炭产量的16.3%，Ranked third among coal-producing provinces in China；榆林市煤炭产量606 million tons， Ranked second among coal-producing cities in China；陕煤集团煤炭产量2.47亿吨，同比增长5.9%，在全国煤炭产量前10家企业中排第五位。
同时，陕西省煤炭销量6.82亿吨，同比增长1.5%。销往省外的煤炭约5.1亿吨，占全省煤炭销量的75%。据陕西省能源局数据显示，2023年全省煤炭日均产量保持在195万吨以上，完成了迎峰度夏、迎峰度冬保供任务，为支撑区域能源稳定发挥了重要作用。
2023年陕西省煤炭产业实现产值5763亿元，同比下降5.1%，煤炭产业产值占全省工业产值的比重为20.2%，比上年增加了2个百分点。煤炭产业实现利润2104亿元，同比下降24.4%，煤炭产业利润占全省规模以上工业企业利润的59.7%，比上年下降了1.7个百分点。
