According to public information, Gong Jinjie was born in November 1985 in Dongfeng County, Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province. He previously served as the director of the Track and Field Bicycle Sports Management Center of the Jilin Province Sports Bureau.
On March 29 this year, the Organization Department of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee issued a pre-appointment announcement for cadres, and Gong Jinjie was proposed to be appointed to a deputy department-level leadership position.
Gong Jinjie won the gold medal in the Incheon Asian Games and the silver medal in the London Olympics.
