According to official website information, Henan Energy Group Co., Ltd. is a large-scale energy group approved by the Henan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government. On December 5, 2008, Henan Coal Chemical Group was strategically reorganized by the former Yongmei Group, Coking Coal Group, Hemei Group, Zhongyuan Dahua, and Henan Province Gas Group; On September 12, 2013, it was strategically reorganized with the former Yimei Group into Henan Energy Chemical Group; On July 8, 2022, it was officially renamed Henan Energy Group with the approval of the provincial government.

The company has a registered capital of 21 billion yuan and has 150,000 employees.
