During the Qingming Festival holiday, several Hong Kong ports experienced a travel peak. According to statistics from the Hong Kong SAR Immigration Department, over 8.7 million people entered and exited Hong Kong from March 28 to April 5, with approximately 960,000 people entering and exiting each day, up approximately 43% year-on-year. On the day of the Qingming Festival, over 1.01 million people entered and exited Hong Kong via various ports, an increase of approximately 52% year-on-year.

According to data released by the Macao Public Security Police Bureau, from the morning of the 4th to the 6th, 1.4054 million people entered and exited the country at various ports in Macau. On the Ching Ming Festival, inbound and outbound passenger flow at various ports in Macau increased by 31.1% year-on-year.
