According to Liaoning Daily, on April 15, the United Front Work Department of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of government officials to announce the decision of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee on the appointment of relevant leading comrades of the Provincial Party Committee. Hao Peng, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

At the meeting, Jiang Tianbao, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department, read out the decisions of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee. With the approval of the central government, Comrade Sui Qing was appointed as a member and standing committee member of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee. The provincial party committee decided that Comrade Sui Qing would be appointed as the director of the United Front Work Department of the provincial party committee.

Sui Qing has worked in the Supervision and Inspection Department of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission for a long time and served as deputy director. In 2014, he served as member of the Standing Committee of the Tongliao Municipal Party Committee and deputy mayor of the municipal government (temporary position). In 2016, he served as director of the Supervision and Inspection Department of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission. Before taking up his new post this time, Sui Qing served as deputy director of the Ethnic and Religious Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
