The public relations department of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said on April 1 local time that Israel's air strike on the consular office building of the Iranian Embassy in Syria killed seven Iranian military personnel on the same day, including commanders of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps "Al-Quds Brigade" Mohammed Reza Zahdi and Mohammed Hadi Haji Rahimi.

On the same day, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Kanani strongly condemned Israel's attack on the consular office building of the Iranian Embassy in Syria. He said that the attack seriously violated international law, especially the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
