Three women, aged 46, 54, and 56, were injured and diagnosed with blast injuries, concussions, and shrapnel wounds, the office said. Russian forces dropped five FAB-250 bombs on the city in that strike, damaging 14 apartment buildings, an educational institution, and administrative buildings, according to Kramatorsk Mayor Oleksandr Honcharenko.

In the evening attack at about 17:52, Russian forces dropped two FAB-250 aerial bombs on the city center, Honcharenko said. Four residents were injured – three women and one man. "Early reports indicate that four residents have been injured – three women and one man. Medical assistance is being provided. All relevant services, emergency crews and medics are working at the scene," Honcharenko said. He noted that this was the third large-scale attack on Kramatorsk within a single day.

The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into a war crime under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the office said.

The attacks follow a pattern of intensified Russian aerial bombing in Donetsk Oblast. On 22 May, Russian strikes killed four civilians in the region, including three aerial bombs on Druzhkivka, and on 21 May, strikes killed four and injured five in Druzhkivka.
