On April 10, the National Energy Administration held the 2024 Qualification Management Work Conference in Beijing to summarize the results achieved in qualification management, energy credit, and green certificate issuance since 2023, and deploy key tasks for 2024. Wan Jinsong, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the National Energy Administration, attended and delivered a speech. Xiang Haiping, chief engineer, presided over the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that since 2023, new progress has been made in digital empowerment and smart supervision of qualification management, the power market access order has been continuously standardized, and the business environment has been continuously optimized; the construction of the credit system has entered a new stage, helping safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises and create an atmosphere of integrity; Green certificates are issued in a standardized and efficient manner, and the authority, uniqueness and versatility of green certificates are strengthened. Qualification management has been transformed and upgraded, and digital and intelligent applications have become more abundant; awareness of convenience to the enterprise masses and serving high-quality economic and social development has become stronger and measures have become more effective; serving the green and low-carbon transformation of energy has become more direct; and the institutional mechanism for preventing and controlling integrity risks is more stringent.

The meeting emphasized that qualification management has a large workload and heavy tasks. Qualification management cadres must further strengthen their awareness of the overall situation, responsibility, service, innovation, cooperation and integrity, comprehensively strengthen the construction of specialization, digital intelligence and standardization, and give full play to their basic, professional and supporting role in the overall work. Under the leadership of the bureau's party group, they must do good and pay close attention to the implementation of work. We will make every effort to complete the tasks specified in the 2024 National Energy Work Conference and Energy Regulatory Work Conference, and promote high-quality energy development with high-quality work.

The Qualification Center of the National Energy Administration made specific arrangements for work in 2024, and responsible comrades of relevant departments (units) of the bureau and qualification management cadres of various dispatched agencies attended the meeting. After the meeting, training for energy qualification management cadres was conducted to further build consensus and improve capabilities.
