Song Hongkun, member of the party leading group and deputy director of the National Energy Administration, attended the meeting and made a speech. The meeting stressed that the important decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council have pointed out the direction and provided guidance for further energy supervision. This year, the National Energy Administration will focus on regulation, adhere to problem orientation, thoroughly implement the new strategy of energy security, anchor the two goals of ensuring energy security and promoting green and low-carbon transformation around the main line of promoting high-quality energy development, and focus on the supervision of energy security, clean energy development, the construction of a national unified power market system, natural monopoly links, electricity market order, and energy use in the field of people's livelihood. The meeting pointed out that 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping's new energy security strategy of "four revolutions and one cooperation." all electric power enterprises should take the initiative to assume, compass their responsibilities, strengthen overall planning, and form a joint force to serve the overall situation of power security and supply, maintain fair and just market order, and jointly promote the development of high-quality electric power. At the meeting, Beijing Electric Power Trading Center and Guangzhou Electric Power Trading Center introduced the electricity market transaction in 2023 and the transaction organization in 2024; the Market Supervision Department of the State Energy Administration informed the relevant situation of power market construction and market supervision. State Grid, Southern Power Grid, Inner Mongolia Power Company, China Huaneng, China Datang, China Huadian, State Power Investment, State Energy Group, three Gorges Group, China Nuclear Power Group, China Guangzhou Nuclear Power Group, China Coal Group, China Resources Power, Guotou Power and other power enterprises exchanged speeches around production and operation, market construction, trading order, as well as key work in 2024, and put forward opinions and suggestions.
