On March 29, the 2024 Extraordinary General Meeting of the Electric Power Sports Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Electric Power Sports Association") and the first meeting of the 7th Supervisory Board were successfully held in Huai 'an, Jiangsu.

Shen Weichun, deputy secretary-general of the China Electricity Council (hereinafter referred to as "China Electricity Council") and president of the Electric Power Sports Association, attended the meeting. Wang Xiaofeng, assistant general manager of State Grid Jiangsu Province Electric Power Co., Ltd. and chairman of the Jiangsu Province Electric Power Writers Association, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Wang Hongbin, secretary-general of the Electric Power Sports Association, presided over the meeting. Nearly 150 people attended the meeting, including representatives of members of the Electric Power Sports Association, Secretariat of the Sports Association's Health and Sports Branch, supervisors of the Electric Power Sports Association, heads of China Electricity Council and other departments, and representatives of relevant media.

Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the conference thoroughly implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the National "Two Sessions", comprehensively summarized the supervisory work of the Electric Power Sports Association in 2023, and redeployed the key work tasks of the Electric Power Sports Association in 2024. The meeting heard and reviewed the 2023 Supervisor Work Report and the voting and election methods of the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Electric Power Sports Association. The meeting adopted the Constitution of the Electric Power Sports Association (revised draft) by secret ballot and elected the supervisors of the seventh Supervisory Board of the Electric Power Sports Association. During the meeting, the 7th Supervisory Board of the Electric Power Sports Association was also held, and Xu Min was elected as the Chairman of the Electric Power Sports Association.

The conference pointed out that the Electric Power Sports Association has thoroughly implemented the national strategy of national fitness, pioneered and innovated, and actively acted. It has organized a number of high-quality employee sports activities, created a vibrant and dynamic industry sports ecosystem, and created a good opportunity to showcase employees 'style. It has established a stage to gather the strength of employees, has achieved fruitful results in serving the industry, and has achieved outstanding governance results and has been highly recognized by member units.

Regarding the key work this year, Shen Weichun emphasized:The first is to take planning as the guide, focusing on the development direction and goal positioning of the association and carrying out innovative work; the second is to persist in the establishment of association branches and promote the higher-level coordinated development of the Electric Power Sports Association and China Electricity Council; the third is to effectively care for employees, Provide health services to employees; the fourth is to enrich the carrier of activities and further promote the implementation of national fitness activities in the power industry; fifth, the Board of Supervisors must perform its duties, explore and improve the operating mechanism, and protect the healthy development of the Electric Power Sports Association. I hope this event will become a new starting point and opportunity to inspire and drive more employees to participate in sports and cultural activities.

The conference released the five-year (2024 - 2028) development plan outline and three-year action plan of the Electric Power Sports Association, and invited relevant experts to give lectures on employee physical fitness testing and scientific fitness guidance, as well as lectures on egg culture and practical skills. After the meeting, the 2024 "Green Energy Cup" Electric Workers Egg Eggs Competition (Huaian Station) was held.

During the meeting, under the guidance of the Mass Sports Department of the State Sports General Administration, co-sponsored by the China Enterprise Sports Association and the Institute of Sports Science of the State Sports General Administration, and co-organized by the Electric Power Sports Association, the 2024 Second China Employee Physical Fitness Testing and Scientific Fitness Guidance Wanlixing Charity Event was the first stop. We entered the State Grid Huaian Power Supply Company and provided physical fitness testing and scientific fitness guidance services to 353 employees.
