The meeting discussed and passed the agenda of the 5th Membership General Assembly of the 2nd Session, the work report of the 5th Membership General Assembly of the 2nd Session, the report on the collection and expenditure of annual membership dues and the annual expenditure budget, the proposal on admitting new members, the proposal on adding and replacing council members, the proposal on adjusting deputy secretaries-general, the proposal on electing vice presidents, and determined the host unit and venue for the annual conference of the Metallurgical Equipment Branch.
In the subsequent session of the enterprise leadership forum, leaders from associations, steel enterprises, and equipment suppliers engaged in discussions around aspects such as equipment maintenance, digitization, intelligence, and localization. It was unanimously agreed that, given the current situation of reduced maintenance and repair personnel in steel enterprises, it is necessary to intensify efforts in the digital and intelligent upgrading of equipment to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce the workload of maintenance staff; to innovate equipment management systems to invigorate operations; to increase training for personnel across the entire equipment system to enhance inspection and maintenance capabilities; and to accelerate cooperation with domestic equipment enterprises to improve equipment stability and reduce costs.
