The rotor of the first ultra-large-tonnage unit of Yangqu Hydropower Station was successfully hoisted
On the morning of March 28, the rotor of the first (No. 2) unit of Yangqu Hydropower Station on the upper reaches of the Yellow River was successfully hoisted, marking that the unit entered the final stage of final assembly and laid a solid foundation for ensuring that the unit was put into operation on schedule for power generation.
Yangqu Hydropower Station, located at the junction of Xinghai County and Guinan County in Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, is a major project of Qinghai Province and the state power investment. Three mixed-flow generating units are designed for the power station, with a total installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts, belonging to the first-class large (I) type project. The rotor of the first (No. 2) unit of Yangqu Hydropower Station adopts a disk support fanless structure and consists of a center body, rotor support, yoke, magnetic pole and other components. The overall hoisting weight of the rotor is about 970 tons, the overall diameter is 12.72 meters, and the total height is 2.76 meters. It is made up of more than 9600 3-mm yoke punched sheets.
According to reports, the cylindricity of the rotor of Unit 2 hoisted this time is ≤0.34 mm, which is much higher than the excellent standard of ≤1.08 mm required by the national standard. Each participating unit overcame difficult challenges such as many cross-working surfaces on site and difficult safety management and control, laying a solid foundation for building the first high-quality unit of Yangqu Hydropower Station, and also accumulated successful experience for the smooth hoisting of subsequent unit rotors.
