On a specific date, the 11th round of negotiations for the China-GCC Free Trade Agreement was held in Guangzhou. Wang Shouwen, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce's International Trade Representative and Vice Minister, and Marzouqi, the GCC's Chief Coordinator for Free Trade Negotiations, led their respective delegations to the event.

Officials from China's Ministry of Commerce, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, General Administration of Customs, and the relevant departments of the six GCC countries, as well as the GCC Secretariat, attended the meeting.

Both sides earnestly implement the consensus of the leaders of China and the Middle East, accelerate the negotiation process, achieve positive progress, and ensure the conclusion of negotiations by the end of the year.

The negotiations for the China-Middle East Free Trade Agreement were launched in the year. An early conclusion of the free trade agreement will further deepen economic and trade cooperation between China and the Middle East, injecting new connotations into the strategic partnership between the two sides.
