It is understood that self-consumption wind power projects mean that the green electricity generated by wind turbines is not integrated into the national power grid, but is transmitted to the oilfield power grid for daily production such as oil extraction, water injection, and gathering and transportation systems, achieving "spontaneous self-use".

Daqing is located at the tuyere of Aogula. The pressure difference between Horqin Sandy Land in the northwest and the plain area where Daqing is located creates good wind energy resource conditions. It is one of the country's nine 10 million kilowatt wind power bases. Daqing Oilfield actively implements the group company's three-step overall deployment of "clean substitution, strategic replacement, and green transformation", strengthens top-level design, organizes high-level promotion, accelerates the promotion of a 10 million-kilowatt "wind, wind and gas hydrogen storage" integrated demonstration base, and strives to reach 2035. In the year, a new pattern of "three pillars" development of oil, gas and new energy will be formed.

In recent years, Daqing Oilfield has closely focused on the strategic deployment of "three major events", anchored the goal of "one stability, three increases and two improvements", and followed by "giving priority to efficiency, simultaneous internal and external development, quality improvement and speed up, and compliance with laws and regulations". Coordinate and promote key tasks such as the construction of a new energy management system, the acquisition of grid connection indicators for wind and solar power generation, the implementation of demonstration projects, and the integrated development of oil and gas and new energy. The new energy business has developed rapidly and the green and low-carbon transformation has achieved initial results.

The self-consumption wind power project was launched in March 2021. After two years of hard work, on March 25, 2023, Daqing Oilfield's first wind power utilization project-the Longyilian Wind Power Project of Oil Production Plant No. 9 was connected to the grid for power generation, with an installed capacity of 10,000 kilowatts, achieving a breakthrough in the oilfield's self-consumption wind power project from scratch.

This year, Daqing Oilfield has accelerated the construction of a low-carbon demonstration zone in Lamadian Oilfield, committed to creating PetroChina's first integrated development model of oil and gas and new energy with a million-ton production capacity, and built a multi-energy integrated green energy supply system of "wind, light, heat, and storage". The first phase of the Lamadian Oilfield Low-Carbon Demonstration Zone project is in full swing. It has overcome problems such as concrete construction in severe cold weather and hoisting at a height of 100 meters. It has completed and put into operation a wind and solar power generation project of 65,000 kilowatts, with a cumulative power generation of more than 16 million kilowatt-hours. The second phase of the project is accelerating preliminary construction preparations and is expected to start in April this year.

"We must take the construction of the 'four major bases' as the starting point, continue to improve the green strategic system, comprehensively promote green development measures, vigorously promote green technological innovation, realize the rapid development of new energy, accelerate the formation and development of new quality productivity, and provide strong support for the growth of enterprises." Pang Zhiqing, manager of the New Energy Business Department of Daqing Oilfield, said.

In 2024, Daqing Oilfield will adhere to the principle of continuously promoting the integrated development of oil, gas and new energy, make every effort to promote the acquisition and transformation of indicators and the construction of key projects, and strive to build a self-consuming million-kilowatt low-carbon oil and gas production base.
