On April 1, CNPC held a party group meeting (expanded) to convey the spirit of studying and implementing the spirit of the Political Bureau meeting of the CPC Central Committee on March 29 and General Secretary Xi Jinping's relevant important instructions, and to study and deploy special work on gas safety. Dai Houliang, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group Company, presided over the meeting.

Dai Houliang emphasized that 要深入学习贯彻中共中央政治局会议精神，提高政治站位、强化政治担当，持续深化巡视整改和成果运用，纵深推进全面从严治党，更好统筹高质量发展和高水平安全，加快建设世界一流企业，扎实推动党中央决策部署在集团公司落实落地。锲而不舍深化中央巡视整改，深入贯彻“四个融入”要求，持续推进常态化整改，巩固拓展巡视整改成果，对长期整改问题紧盯不放、久久为功，切实发挥好巡视整改对推进高质量发展和全面从严治党的作用。认真落实新修订的《中国共产党巡视工作条例》，高标准开展内部巡视，系统谋划、整体推进，协作配合、上下联动，发现问题、形成震慑，推动改革、促进发展。综合用好巡视成果促进标本兼治，深入研究解决巡视发现的共性问题和深层次问题，加强巡视整改监督，强化建章立制，确保巡视成果运用有效衔接，更好发挥巡视利剑作用。

Dai Houliang pointed out that 要深入学习领会习近平总书记关于燃气安全的重要指示批示精神，牢固树立“发展决不能以牺牲安全为代价”的红线意识，切实增强抓好燃气安全工作的思想自觉、政治自觉和行动自觉，扎实开展相关专项治理，全链条整治风险隐患，促进燃气安全运行，不断提升本质安全水平，全力保障人民群众生命财产安全和社会大局稳定，以实际行动拥护“两个确立”，坚决做到“两个维护”。全力抓好安全生产治本攻坚行动，清醒认识当前安全生产形势的复杂性严峻性，严格落实安全生产责任制，健全完善安全生产长效机制，统筹推进设备更新改造与管理维护等工作，大力整治安全生产中的形式主义，以高水平安全保障高质量发展。
