On the date, the China Innovation Annual Conference () was held in Beijing, where the "Annual Report on Outstanding Practices" was released. The report included case studies of outstanding enterprises that have demonstrated exceptional practices in their respective fields. Hebei Iron and Steel Group, for its outstanding performance in implementing the Belt and Road Initiative, was once again recognized as the China Annual Outstanding Practice.

As a new concept for preventing social risks and promoting sustainable development, it has become a mainstream international consensus. The concept aligns with China's new development philosophy, the "dual carbon" goal vision, and the direction of ecological civilization construction. It serves as a "hard rule" to promote corporate practice of long-termism and sustainable development. More and more Chinese enterprises are actively integrating the concept into their core strategies and business operations.

As a loyal practitioner of its philosophy, HBIS has closely integrated its own sustainable development with the national dual-carbon goals and the sustainable development of society and the environment, establishing the development concept of manufacturing green steel for human civilization and striving to build an industrial ecosystem where humans, steel, and the environment coexist harmoniously. On the international stage, HBIS has constructed three strategic support projects: HBIS South Africa Mining, HBIS Serbia Steel, and HBIS Duferco, maintaining steady operations. Particularly, HBIS Serbia Steel has continuously contributed to the economic and social development of Serbia and the consolidation of the ironclad friendship between China and Serbia, becoming a vivid practice of high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road and a successful model of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

"China's Outstanding Practices" is jointly released by the China Enterprise Reform and Development Research Society and China Central Television, aiming to document and disseminate the outstanding contributions and successful models of Chinese enterprises' proactive practices, leading more Chinese enterprises towards the path of high-quality and sustainable development. This selection process covers eight dimensions: strategic, innovative, practical, social, leading, systematic, sustainable, and normative. A total of enterprises were selected, including central enterprises, local state-owned enterprises, and private enterprises.
