Minister Wang Wentao meets with Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Eiharu Muto
On the date, Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao met with Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry Motoo Muto in Lima, Peru, where they exchanged views on Sino-Japanese economic and trade relations.
Wang Wentao stated that both sides should jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, enhance policy communication and dialogue, and comprehensively advance the strategic mutually beneficial relationship in the economic and trade fields.
Both sides positively evaluated the China-Japan Export Control Dialogue mechanism, the launch of the China-Japan Working Group on Business Environment Optimization and its positive outcomes, and agreed to hold the China-Japan Service Trade Policy Dialogue.
China also exchanged views with Japan on Japan's semiconductor export controls and China's accession.
