Today, as socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era, the historical process of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation has become irreversible. New Era literature must keep pace with the times, vividly record great practices, deeply reflect historical transformations, and tell the good stories and grand visions of Chinese-style modernization. In recent years, a series of outstanding works that chronicle the struggles and great creations of the Chinese people have resonated widely. "The Thousand Li Mountain and River" traces the red ideals and heroic bloodlines of revolutionary China, "The Snowy Land" outlines the continuous efforts of generations to build the northwest plateau, and "Treasure Water" focuses on the changes in life and spirit brought about by rural revitalization... Numerous excellent literary works from different dimensions interpret the flesh-and-blood connection between literature and the times, gathering the tremendous spiritual strength to comprehensively advance the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-style modernization.

新时代文学要把推进中国式现代化的故事“讲出去”。习近平总书记强调，“国际社会对中国的关注度越来越高，他们想了解中国，想知道中国人的世界观、人生观、价值观，想知道中国人对自然、对世界、对历史、对未来的看法，想知道中国人的喜怒哀乐，想知道中国历史传承、风俗习惯、民族特性，等等……文艺是最好的交流方式，在这方面可以发挥不可替代的作用”。年来，中国作协积极开展双边、多边文学交流，“一带一路”文学联盟扩展到个国家；积极推动文学作品互译出版合作，持续办好《人民文学》外文版；举办中国文学国际传播论坛、中国国际网络文学周；针对国外新生代，推出“世代”网络文学国际传播工程。今年月，中国作协与浙江省委宣传部共同举办“首届国际青春诗会——金砖国家专场”，邀请金砖十国的位诗人与会，在沉浸式参访中以诗会友、深化文明交流互鉴，引起国内外诗歌界的广泛关注。下一步，中国作协将持续拓展对外文学交流渠道，推动中国文学在更大、更自主的平台上与世界文学自信对话，在更高的起点上向世界讲好中国故事，展现可信、可爱、可敬的中国形象。
