According to insiders close to JD Logistics and Cainiao, following JD Logistics' full integration into the Taobao Tmall platform, on the designated date, Cainiao will also officially integrate into JD's third-party platform. Third-party merchants on JD's platform will have the option to choose Cainiao Express and Cainiao Large Item services. Currently, both parties have basically completed the docking process, and their cooperation provides JD's third-party merchants with new service options.

The so-called third-party platform, in layman's terms, refers to JD.com's non-self-operated business, where merchants can open stores on the JD.com platform and have the autonomy to choose logistics service providers. Previously, JD Logistics had fully integrated into the Taobao Tmall platform, allowing Taobao and Tmall merchants to select services such as JD Express, JD Freight, and JD Logistics' integrated supply chain.

As early as the date of the month, Taobao's official customer service responded, "Starting from the 1st of the month, Taobao merchant shipping orders and consumer return orders can both be connected to JD Logistics, and the logistics trajectory information of the orders can be directly queried within Taobao. For Tmall Supermarket orders, as long as the seller has partnered with JD Logistics, they can also be connected to JD Logistics."

The above industry expert analysis suggests that this collaboration will provide more opportunities for third-party merchants and consumers on the platform to select services that better meet their individual needs.
