The Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee convened a meeting to review the "Comprehensive Report on the Third Round of Inspections of the 20th Central Committee." Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, presided over the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, the inspection work has adhered to the central task, served the overall situation, highlighted problem-oriented approaches, implemented a strict tone, innovated organizational methods, deepened vertical and horizontal coordination, and continuously demonstrated the role of a sharp sword. Judging from the inspection results, the Party's construction in central and state organs and centrally administered financial institutions has been strengthened, and new achievements have been made in various tasks, but there are still some issues.

To earnestly and seriously address the rectification of inspections, strengthen the political responsibilities of the "first person in charge" and members of the leadership team, enhance the organizational coordination and daily supervision of inspection rectification, integrate inspection rectification with deepening reforms, with comprehensive strict governance of the Party, with the construction of leadership teams and cadre ranks, and incorporate it into daily work and functional responsibilities, in order to promote high-quality development through the actual effectiveness of rectification.

The meeting emphasized that Party committees (leading Party members' groups) at all levels should continuously enhance their political stance, strengthen their political commitment to fulfilling their duties, dare to act and be good at overcoming difficulties, and take the initiative to share the burdens for the Party and the country. They should earnestly implement the decisions of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, and take the spirit of driving nails to ensure the implementation of reform tasks. It is also necessary to strengthen the awareness of potential risks, balance development and security, focus on preventing and resolving risks in key areas, and firmly hold the bottom line of security.

To strengthen the construction of leading bodies, rigorously implement democratic centralism, promote the ability of leaders to move up or down, and continuously enhance cohesion and combat effectiveness. It is essential to have a clear understanding of the situation in the fight against corruption, deepen the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, carry out the fight against corruption with the spirit of thorough self-revolution, adhere to the integrated approach of making corruption unattainable, unavoidable, and undesirable, deepen both targeted and systematic governance, maintain a high-pressure stance in punishing corruption, continuously improve mechanisms for the allocation and operation of power, focus on eradicating the soil and conditions for corruption, and promote the normalization and long-term effectiveness of preventing and addressing corruption issues.
