The data shows that the company achieved revenue of 162.174 billion yuan in the third quarter, a year-on-year increase of 38.49%, marking the first time that quarterly revenue exceeded 100 billion yuan; the net profit attributable to the parent company was 10.413 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 82.16%; the net profit attributable to the parent company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was 9.657 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 80.95%, marking the first time that the quarterly net profit attributable to the parent company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses exceeded 10 billion yuan.
From a revenue perspective, BYD's quarterly revenue has surpassed Tesla for the first time. Tesla's third-quarter revenue was $X billion (approximately X billion RMB when converted at the latest exchange rate).

"Considering BYD's competitive advantages, we expect that BYD's new car sales could reach 3 million units in 2023, with a year-on-year increase of over 60%," Haitong Securities analysis suggests.
Morgan Stanley analysts, among others, said in a report that they expect investors to gradually shift their focus to BYD's high-end brands and overseas sales to observe whether they can recover and drive sales and profit growth in the fourth quarter.
In fact, since the official launch of the "Passenger Vehicle Export" plan in month and year, BYD has been accelerating its expansion into overseas markets. Official data shows that by now, BYD's new energy vehicles have reached over a hundred countries and regions worldwide.
