中央网信办部署开展“清朗·同城版块信息内容问题整治”专项行动
记者31日从中央网信办获悉，为集中治理同城版块易发多发问题，压紧压实网站平台主体责任，切实净化同城版块网络生态环境，近日，中央网信办印发通知，在全国范围内部署开展为期2个月的“清朗·同城版块信息内容问题整治”专项行动。

The relevant official from the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office stated that this special operation covers social, short video, live streaming, news, e-commerce, search engines, group buying reviews, online dating, map navigation, travel, local life, weather calendars, sports health, and other platforms' local city rankings, sections, columns, channels, as well as various mobile applications that provide local information content or services based on geographical location.

The key focus areas of this special campaign are: 1. Spreading online hostility. 2. Fabricating internet rumors and false information. 3. Displaying pornographic and vulgar content. 4. Promoting illegal activities within the same city. 5. Offering services of internet trolls.

The relevant official from the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office stated that local cyberspace affairs departments should fully recognize the significant importance of the special action in purifying the online ecosystem and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of netizens. They should earnestly fulfill their territorial management responsibilities for local sections, continuously improve their work methods, supervise website platforms to align with the requirements of the special action, crack down on illegal and non-compliant activities, refine key function settings, optimize the content recommendation mechanism for local information, and ensure the implementation of rectifications.
