Geely Group (including but not limited to its Volvo and other brands) has consistently advanced negotiation efforts under the guidance of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (hereinafter referred to as the "Chamber of Commerce"). All proposals submitted by Geely have been filed with the Chamber of Commerce, and there has never been any private communication or negotiation with the European Commission.

From late October to mid-November, Geely Group participated in the consultation meetings organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products with the European Commission in Brussels regarding industry solutions. During the consultation meetings, the European Commission proactively approached Geely's brands. Geely, prioritizing the overall situation, declined to communicate separately with the European Commission.

Geely Group has consistently adhered to the principle of prioritizing the overall situation, unwaveringly supporting industry negotiations, and actively contributing to safeguarding the overall interests of the industry and advancing the negotiation process.

In response to the distorted and defamatory reports circulating online, Geely will resolutely take legal action and pursue legal responsibilities against the relevant institutions and individuals if such actions do not cease, in order to protect its legitimate rights and interests and maintain its positive image.
