"Jointly Promoting High-Quality Development and Building an Asia-Pacific Community with a Shared Future" Think Tank Report Launched in Peru

Xinhua News Agency's National High-End Think Tank released the think tank report "Jointly Promoting High-Quality Development and Building a Community with a Shared Future in Asia-Pacific" in Lima, Peru, outlining the future development achievements of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation and China's actions to the global community.

The report comprehensively introduces the development achievements of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in promoting economic integration and trade liberalization in the Asia-Pacific region, the internal and external shocks facing the development and security environment in the region, the inevitable trend of building a community with a shared future for Asia-Pacific, and China's actions, concepts, and solutions in promoting economic growth and deepening regional cooperation in the Asia-Pacific. It is divided into three parts: "Focusing on Development: Jointly Creating a Remarkable 'Asia-Pacific Miracle'," "Addressing Challenges: Shouldering the Heavy Responsibility of the Times to Brave the Storms," and "Continuing the Splendor: Achieving Common Prosperity through Shared Creation and Sharing."

At the turn of the year, leaders in the Asia-Pacific region, in line with the trend of the times towards peace and development, unanimously agreed to move beyond the old mindset of group confrontation and zero-sum games, and established the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). Since then, regional cooperation in the Asia-Pacific has propelled the region's development into a fast lane, contributing to the Asia-Pacific becoming the center of global economic growth, a cornerstone of global development stability, and a high ground for cooperation, as well as a key force driving global high-quality and sustainable development.

The 31st APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting is about to be held in Lima, Peru. APEC is a significant economic cooperation platform in the Asia-Pacific region, and all parties look forward to the continued engine role of the Asia-Pacific in leading global economic growth.

The report points out that China is an active advocate, promoter, and advocate of regional cooperation in the Asia-Pacific. As an important economy in the Asia-Pacific region, China has been actively participating in APEC cooperation and continuously playing the role of a "booster" in economic cooperation.
