The report cited Ling Tao's view, stating that such a classic among Chinese people is being repeatedly attacked by vulgar politicians from the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) on the island during a typhoon. Ling Tao analyzed that Wang Dingyu was the first to label and "paint red" Andy Lau, causing an uproar, and was quickly corrected by the Mainland Affairs Council in Taiwan, hastily changing his stance. This time, Wang Yichuan again stirred up the issue of "very Chinese," misjudging the direction of public opinion, causing fans who usually do not care about politics to turn against the DPP.

凌涛还称，In today's Taiwan, the ruling party, led by Wang Dingyu and Wang Yichuan, has begun to promote a 'song censorship campaign,' much to the surprise.

The lyricists and composers of "Chinese People" are all from Taiwan.

Former legislator Tsai Cheng-yuan said that the song sung by Andy Lau is called "Chinese", and the authors are all from Taiwan. The arranger, Tu Hui-yuan, is from Tainan City. He has written many songs for A-mei, including one called "Listen to the Sea", and also wrote songs for Qi Yu. His high reputation is likely why Andy Lau hired him at a high price to compose the song.

Tsai Cheng-yuan further added that, apart from the arrangement being done by a person from Tainan, the composer is Chen Yaochuan, who is also from Taipei, all of them being Taiwanese. You may not know Chen Yaochuan, but you must have heard the song "Forgotten Love Water," which was written by Chen Yaochuan.
