Since the first CIIE, there have been countless vivid and lively "CIIE stories" both on and behind the scenes. In the year, the special global collection campaign "My CIIE Story" was officially launched, with multiple stories published over the years, totaling . million media reports and nearly billion total impressions. In this month, a new round of the "CIIE Story" global collection campaign was launched again, with leads pouring in, serving as a vivid testament to the "CIIE attraction."
On a specific date, the new book launch event for "Jinbo Stories" themed "Sharing Opportunities, Progressing Endlessly" was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
It is understood that this marks the consecutive year of the release of the new book "CIIE Stories" during the CIIE period. The latest edition of "CIIE Stories" is a bilingual book in both Chinese and English, divided into four chapters: Gate of Opportunity, Power of Innovation, Beauty of Development, and Pact of Openness. Through the form of bilingual storytelling, it immerses readers in the vivid scenes and authentic details of the CIIE promoting mutual economic benefits, emotional trust, and cultural exchange.
Li Guoqing, Deputy Director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, stated that "CIIE partners" from around the world are gathering by the Huangpu River and at the "Clover," where they engage in trade negotiations, sign cooperation agreements, exchange ideas, deepen friendships, open doors to opportunities, gather innovative forces, share the beauty of development, and fulfill commitments to openness. One vivid "CIIE story" after another continues to unfold. These "CIIE stories" chronicle the transformation of exhibits into commodities and exhibitors into investors, as well as the "CIIE power" that the Expo has contributed to opening up and cooperation, serving as a vivid testament to the Expo's appeal.
This year marks the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Norway, as well as Norway's first participation in the National Exhibition of the China International Import Expo (CIIE). Hao Xi, Deputy Consul General of the Consulate General of Norway in Shanghai, stated that the CIIE provides Norwegian enterprises with an important platform to understand and enter the Chinese market. "The 'CIIE Stories' capture real moments behind the Expo through vivid narratives. These stories showcase the efforts of all participants and reflect a new landscape of global trade cooperation," she acknowledged. "We look forward to seeing more Norwegian enterprises share their experiences and achievements here in the future, further enriching the 'CIIE Stories'."
At the event, two exhibitor representatives shared their "CIIE stories." According to Liu Chang, Vice President of Cargill Greater China, Cargill has participated in the CIIE consecutively. This year's booth showcased the "marvelous journey of a soybean" through a large naked-eye screen. From the seed taking root and sprouting in the United States and Brazil, to finally reaching the tables of Chinese consumers, the story of "a soybean" is also a microcosm of Cargill's growth alongside the CIIE and the Chinese market.
"When we first participated in the CIIE, our booth was very small, but every day there were always many visitors coming to our stand, admiring our products and inquiring about cooperation," said Isabel Tsao, founder of Warmpaca from Peru. She noted that the CIIE has brought Peruvian handicrafts to the world stage, and the Warmpaca brand has grown rapidly due to the CIIE, with production volume achieving a % increase, benefiting multiple Peruvian artisan families.
At the same time, the renowned "International Diva" Cuihua was invited to share her inextricable bond with the CIIE and her thoughts on how to tell the "CIIE stories" well. Her unique international perspective kicked off the social media relay challenge short video collection campaign. The organizers invited all CIIE participants to pick up their phones or cameras, capture and record the wonderful moments around them, and invite friends, family, colleagues, and partners to join the relay challenge activity.

It is worth noting that the event coincided with the 24th China Journalists' Day. The organizers of the event extended their holiday greetings to journalists who have been chasing "new" stories at the CIIE over the past five years. At the event, representatives of international students and exhibitors received the newly published book "CIIE Stories".
