On the specified date, the High-Purity Iron New Material Innovation Application High-End Forum was successfully held in Shanghai. Vice Minister of the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, Honorary President of the Central Iron and Steel Research Institute, Academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, Academician Weng Yuqing of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, President Wang Wenjin of the Special Steel Enterprises Association of China, Chief Scientist of New Materials of the State, Professor Dong Han of Shanghai University, and other leaders and guests attended the meeting. Weng Yuqing stated that ultra-high purity iron is a key foundational material, and its production and application reflect a country's scientific and technological innovation capabilities and industrialization level. For many years, the ultra-high purity iron market has been monopolized by Japan and developed countries in Europe and America, with high market prices, long-standing technological blockade, and trade barriers, becoming a "bottleneck" issue in China's key foundational material sector. The successful preparation and industrialization of ultra-high purity iron have fundamentally resolved this problem, marking a new breakthrough in China's key foundational material sector.

Wang Wenjin summarized the current situation and development trends of China's special steel industry in his speech. He pointed out that China's special steel industry is a special force driving the development of new quality production. The ultra-pure iron from Hebei Longfengshan Group is helping China's special steel industry go global. It is believed that Hebei Longfengshan Group will continue to thrive.

Dong Han delivered a report titled "Preparation, Characteristics, and Applications of Ultra-High Purity Iron" at the forum, introducing the process of producing grade pure iron through the high-purity iron pyrometallurgical production line and the procedures and principles of preparing ultra-pure iron using zone melting. Dong Han stated that the pyrometallurgical ultra-high purity iron products of Hebei Longfengshan Group are produced through the only specialized pure iron production line, boasting advantages such as comprehensive refining equipment, high adaptability of continuous casting billet cross-sectional dimensions to user needs, and marketing through a shelf product model. Additionally, he introduced the applications of high-purity iron in steel and amorphous alloy films.

Liu Wucheng, in his welcome speech, stated that the purpose of organizing this forum is to report the latest research and innovation progress in the field of pure iron, to build a platform for technical exchange on the application of iron-based new materials, and to jointly envision and discuss the application prospects and paths of ultra-high purity iron new materials in high-end equipment manufacturing, national defense and military industries, special metallurgy, and high-tech fields, as well as to collectively plan for the development of ultra-high purity iron new materials.

Hebei Longfengshan Group has been continuously dedicated to the research and production of iron purification technology for years. Since then, in collaboration with Shanghai University, it has innovated in ultra-high purity iron technology, raising the purity of iron from .% to .%, placing it at the forefront of the world in iron purification. Among them, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hebei Longfengshan Chenxin New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., successfully put into operation the first domestic industrialized project for the production of grade high-purity iron using a fire method. The designed annual production capacity for high-purity iron and elemental high-purity iron is 100,000 tons, with the purity of iron having achieved a phased level of .%, reaching the highest purity level in the country.

Director of the Technical Center of Hebei Longfengshan Chenxin New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Li Daoming, delivered a report titled "Characteristics of Longfengshan High-Purity Iron Composition and Standard Construction." The Hebei Longfengshan Group uses its unique high-purity pig iron and ultra-high-purity liquid iron as base materials, enhancing the purity of high-purity iron to over .% through processes such as pre-treatment of molten iron with triple deoxidation, deep desulfurization, deep purification, vacuum refining for decarburization and degassing, casting, and precision processing. The products feature high purity, high stability, and high consistency, with low content of harmful elements and impurities. Adopting a marketing model of "multiple varieties, small batches, large supermarket, large inventory, and user-oriented service," the company supports the large-scale, intensive, and intelligent development of special metallurgical equipment, achieving high-quality development through quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, and transformation and upgrading.
