Chen Xinliang, Vice President of the Research Association and Deputy Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Steel Association, and Zhu Guangsheng, Secretary-General of the Research Association and Director of the Office of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Steel Association, respectively chaired the sessions of the meeting. More than a hundred discipline inspection cadres from member units of the Steel Association and their affiliated enterprises, as well as discipline inspection cadres from the Steel Association system, attended the meeting.

Li Changmei stated in her speech that over the years, under the guidance of the Discipline Inspection Committee of the Steel Association, the research association has consistently adhered to the development positioning of serving the industry and its members, continuously expanding its scale, enriching its meeting formats, and achieving practical results, contributing lasting strength to the high-quality development of the steel industry. She hopes that all member units will leverage the platform role of the research association, learn from each other, advance together, extend the "supervision chain" along the industrial chain, and promote the supply chain to become a "clean chain," jointly creating a new landscape of high-quality development in the industry's disciplinary inspection work.

Chen Hongfei delivered a summary speech titled "Overcoming Difficulties and Innovating Reforms to Provide Strong Disciplinary Guarantees for High-Quality Development in the Steel Industry." He fully acknowledged the role of the research association in serving enterprises, the industry, and professionals, and shared his thoughts on how to better unite efforts and achieve new successes. Firstly, he emphasized strengthening theoretical armament and enhancing political capabilities. This involves continuing to deeply study the spirit of the 20th CPC Central Committee's Third Plenary Session and the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection's Third Plenary Session, leveraging the supervisory and guarantee functions of disciplinary inspection organizations to create favorable conditions for the high-quality development of the industry. Secondly, he proposed leveraging the research association's bridge function to provide high-quality services for the steel industry's disciplinary inspection work. This includes fully utilizing the research association's platform to support enterprise high-quality development, serving the industry's stable operation in accordance with laws and regulations, assisting in the stable growth of the steel industry through supervisory guarantees, enhancing overall enterprise efficiency through collaboration, strengthening targeted services through research, and improving service methods by enhancing capabilities and fostering a spirit of struggle. Thirdly, he called for forging a strong disciplinary inspection team with a thorough spirit of self-revolution. Member enterprises' disciplinary inspection organizations should lead in studying President Xi Jinping's important thoughts on the Party's self-revolution, strengthening their own construction with a thorough spirit of self-revolution, and cultivating a disciplinary inspection team that is loyal, clean, responsible, and adept at struggle. The research association should adhere to and implement the "two trainings per year" system, continuously conducting disciplinary inspection business training, and constantly innovating methods. Lastly, he stressed the importance of strengthening disciplinary inspection work to prevent "involution-style"恶性竞争 within enterprises and maintain the industry's stable operation. The steel industry's disciplinary inspection organizations have made beneficial explorations and accumulated successful experiences in promoting the implementation of the "three fixes and three no's" principle by the Steel Association and strengthening self-discipline to stabilize the market, providing strong guarantees for advancing the steel practice of China's modernization efforts.

Liu Jie delivered a work report for the research association, systematically reviewing the association's work over the year and outlining the next steps in disciplinary inspection and supervision. After discussions at the preparatory meeting and subsequent approval by the general assembly, the Discipline Inspection Commission of China Metallurgical Research Group was added as a vice president unit of the research association. The assembly voted to approve the addition of Lei Jianrong, Wang Yu, and Wang Chuanxue as vice presidents of the research association.

The conference held the debut ceremony for the anthology "Steel Guards ()" and honored the recipients of the Outstanding Organization Award and the Outstanding Paper Award. Among them, the Disciplinary Inspection Organization of Ansteel Group and other units were recognized as recipients of the Outstanding Organization Award. The outstanding papers were awarded one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and several excellence awards. The conference selected and exchanged three first prize papers: "Promoting the Spirit of Self-Revolution, Focusing on 'Four Doings, Six Stricts, Two Advances,' and Integrating Disciplinary Inspection into Safeguarding Enterprise Production and Operations," recommended by the Disciplinary Inspection Commission of China Baowu Ma Steel Group; "Analysis of the Pathways to Address 'Micro-Corruption' in State-Owned Enterprises," recommended by the Disciplinary Inspection Commission of Ansteel Group; and "Exploration and Practice of Using the Construction of a Clean and Honest Culture to Safeguard High-Quality Enterprise Development," recommended by the Disciplinary Inspection Commission of Shandong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.

At the meeting, the disciplinary inspection commissions of Shougang Group, HeSteel Group, CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group, Hunan Steel Group, Baogang Group, China Minerals Zhoushan Development Company, and Shandong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. shared their experiences, introducing the good practices and methods of their respective enterprises' disciplinary inspection work.

The meeting specially invited Professor Zhang Kai from the Department of Economics at the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC (National Academy of Governance) to deliver a keynote lecture titled "The Significant Importance and General Requirements of Further Comprehensively Deepening Reforms and Advancing the Chinese Path to Modernization."

The conference comprehensively and multi-dimensionally showcased the theoretical, practical, institutional, and cultural innovations in the discipline inspection and supervision work of steel enterprises over the past year. The vast majority of discipline inspection and supervision cadres from member enterprises reached a common consensus on deeply studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th CPC Central Committee's Third Plenary Session, holding high the great banner, striving to scale new heights, overcoming difficulties, reforming and innovating, and continuously providing strong disciplinary guarantees for the high-quality development of the steel industry.
