Happy Birthday to the People's Air Force!

On the day, the People's Air Force celebrated its birthday, with the August 1st Air Demonstration Team and the "Red Eagle" Air Demonstration Team of the Air Force Aviation University performing in a unique manner above the venue of the 15th China Airshow to commemorate the occasion.

The Air Force August 1st Aerobatic Team's J-10 and J-16 fighters soared through the sky, trailing red, yellow, and blue smoke. "Today's performance is different from the past. We have adopted the 'Sword Loop' pattern, forming a scroll that pays tribute to 'China Red' with 'Air Force Blue,' showcasing the openness, confidence, and mission responsibility of a major air force," said Captain Li Bin of the Air Force August 1st Aerobatic Team.

The "Red Eagle" aerobatic team has introduced a new maneuver called "Double Aircraft Thumbs Up" – two planes reach a designated position and then simultaneously separate to the sides, leaving twin trails of smoke that form a large heart shape in the sky. "This symbolizes the people's air force's unwavering commitment to the original aspiration of being loyal to the Party, the firm confidence in flying towards victory, and the ambition to soar in the sky," said Wang Pingfeng, commander of the "Red Eagle" aerobatic team. "We hope to attract more young people with aspirations to join the ranks of the blue sky by showcasing the spirit of the people's air force."
