Chongqing Shapingba Police reported on a certain date that a video circulating online showing a taxi driver assaulting another person has been investigated and verified. On the morning of a certain date at around 10:30, Lan (male, 30 years old) was driving a taxi when he suddenly changed lanes at a dashed line, causing dissatisfaction from Zhang (male, 30 years old), who was driving a car in the same direction. Zhang overtook Lan's vehicle, slowed down by braking in front of it, and both parties rolled down their windows to exchange accusations. Subsequently, they got out of their vehicles and engaged in a dispute, during which Lan punched Zhang in the head and face, causing minor injuries to Zhang. Currently, Lan has been administratively detained for suspected assault.
