According to CCTV News, on the specified date, the People's Procuratorate of Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, approved the arrest of the suspect Fan in the Zhuhai "car crash" case, which was submitted by the Zhuhai Municipal Public Security Bureau for approval, on charges of endangering public safety by dangerous means. The case is currently under further investigation.

According to a previous report by the Zhuhai Public Security Bureau in Guangdong Province, at around 10:00 PM on a certain date, a major and vicious case occurred at the Zhuhai Sports Center where the suspect drove into exercising citizens, resulting in one person dead after rescue efforts and several others injured and hospitalized. On the day of the incident, the suspect, Fan (male, 39 years old, divorced), forcibly entered the city's sports center by driving a small SUV through the barriers, colliding with citizens exercising on the internal roads of the sports center. While attempting to flee, Fan was immediately controlled by the public security officers who arrived at the scene. The officers discovered Fan self-harming with a knife in the vehicle, promptly stopped him, and sent him to the hospital for treatment.

The public security organs, after comprehensively examining the crime scene, video surveillance, witness statements, and electronic evidence, have preliminarily determined that the case was triggered by Fan's dissatisfaction with the property division outcome following his divorce.
