Under the scorching sun, sweat continuously streamed down the faces of the team members, and their orange work uniforms were soaked through, looking as if they had been fished out of water... In [Month] [Year], to better meet the residents' electricity needs and enhance the quality of power supply services, the former Chengdu Electric Power Bureau decided to establish the Gaoxin Lianxinqiao Party Member Service Team. They took the lead in household meter transformation and fault repairs, extended their service scope, and voluntarily helped residents solve electricity problems at their doorsteps, bringing a new experience of doorstep service. When it was first established, the team only had 12 members, and the work pressure was enormous. At that time, the team leader Ma Shiwei encouraged everyone, "Since we have raised the banner of the Party Member Service Team, we must clearly identify ourselves as Party members and make a name for ourselves!" From then on, this team became like a big tree, deeply rooted among the people. The service team quickly activated the backup generator and set up an emergency power supply for Aunt Wu's home. Seeing the ventilator resume operation, the team members finally relaxed. Aunt Wu held Liu Jie's hand and kept thanking him, "Xiao Liu, you are saving lives!"

Over the years, the High-Tech Heart-to-Heart Bridge Party Member Service Team has conducted over ten thousand power repair and home service missions, answered over ten thousand help-seeking calls, and has been widely recognized by the public. On the screen in the lobby of Chengdu High-tech Power Supply Company, there is a "Support Map" that clearly marks the names, ages, addresses, and health conditions of some elderly residents within the jurisdiction. "These are some elderly individuals in the jurisdiction who face various difficulties in their daily lives, and our team provides regular assistance and services to them," said Liu Yuan, the Party branch secretary of the High-tech Heart-to-Heart Party Member Service Team. The team was established with the goal of "responding to every call and helping in every difficulty." In practice, the team's services have extended from in front of the electricity meter to behind it, and from outdoor to indoor.

The Yu Lin neighborhood is home to many old and dilapidated residential areas, with a high concentration of elderly residents, particularly those living alone. In a certain year, the service team visited the home of Mr. Du Dezhu in Jianguo Lane to address an electrical meter malfunction. They discovered that the elderly man was seriously ill, unable to get out of bed, with no one to care for him. His house, old and weathered, was dark and damp, with daily necessities and convenience foods scattered on the bed. The team members took the initiative to tidy up the old man's home and left their contact numbers. Subsequently, they frequently visited the elderly man's home to chat with him, clean the house, and purchase medications or arrange for medical visits. Granny Du, with deep emotion, said, "My legs, which are so useless, I myself dislike them, yet you do not disdain them at all. You have helped me for so many years, truly closer than family!"

There are many elderly people like Du Dezhu in the area, and the members of the High-Tech Heart-to-Heart Bridge Party Member Service Team have taken note of this and decided to take on the responsibility of assisting elderly people in need within the jurisdiction. As of now, the number of their assistance targets has increased from the initial number. To prevent accidents among elderly people living alone, the service team developed the "Elderly Care Wisdom System," which analyzes electricity usage data to assess the living conditions of elderly people living alone. Another issue with the old residential areas in Yulin Street is the aging buildings and facilities, lack of regular maintenance by property management, and neglected lighting in stairwells, which has long plagued the community residents with the problem of "dark stairwells." In a certain month, resident Uncle Hu went out at night and, due to the darkness in the stairwell, stumbled and nearly "broke his old bones." With a try-it-and-see attitude, he called the Gaoxin Lianxinqiao Party Member Service Team, and the team members arrived on the scene within minutes. Although it was not within their power supply service scope, the team members still paid out of their own pockets to install sound-activated lights in the stairwell of Uncle Hu's building, instantly transforming the once pitch-black stairwell into a well-lit one.

After the devastating Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, the service team rushed to Hongkou Township, a life-isolated island with no food or electricity, and worked tirelessly for three days and nights, manually setting up power poles and laying electrical wires, bringing light to the affected residents. On April 20, 2013, a strong earthquake struck Lushan County, Ya'an City. The service team braved the danger of falling rocks to enter Yuxicun in Baosheng Township, where the disaster was severe, to restore power and light the first lamp in the disaster-stricken Yuxicun area. When they learned that a family on the hillside of Yuxicun had a newborn baby who was just over a hundred days old, and the family had no electricity or firewood, and the young mother, due to shock, had insufficient milk, the team members immediately took action. They connected wires, installed leakage protectors, and set up light switches... Within 15 minutes, a white insulated wire was pulled from a generator over 100 meters away to this simple tarpaulin shelter. The team members later recalled, "Since we knew about it, we couldn't just ignore it; it's our responsibility." In July 2021, the catastrophic floods in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, deeply concerned people across the nation. As part of the "vanguard team" for power emergency response, the Gaoxin Lianxinqiao Party Member Service Team rushed to Zhengzhou for emergency support. Their primary task was to restore power to 150 communities that had been without electricity for nearly 48 hours. With the water levels still high, the team members had to carry cables and work arduously in the dark, flooded basements... When the cables were connected to the distribution boxes and light finally returned to the communities, everyone cheered with excitement!

Over the years, the Party Member Service Team of Gaoxin Lianxin Bridge has always rushed to the scene at the first moment upon receiving urgent, difficult, dangerous, and critical tasks, winning multiple emergency rescue and disaster relief battles, resolutely shouldering the charge flag of emergency power supply.

In July, Zhengzhou, Henan Province, was hit by continuous heavy rains. The Chengdu High-tech Lianxinqiao Party Member Service Team of State Grid Sichuan Electric Power rushed to Zhengzhou to assist in flood relief and power restoration, responsible for the electricity recovery of multiple residential communities. In the year, Wu Hao succeeded as the seventh team leader of the High-Tech Heart-to-Heart Bridge Party Member Service Team. The former team leader, Liu Jie, handed over the files of the assisted individuals to him, saying, "This is our family heirloom. Twenty years ago, the previous team leader entrusted it to me, reminding me to always keep the promise of serving the people. Now, it's your turn!"
