The Civil Aviation Administration of China officially issued the first production license for unmanned manned aircraft in Guangzhou, Guangdong.

On April 7, the Civil Aviation Administration of China officially issued the first production license for unmanned manned aircraft in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, which is also the first production license in the global eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft) industry.

eVTOL (Electric Vertical Take-off and Landing Aircraft) refers to an electric aircraft that is independent of airport runways and capable of vertical take-off and landing. It is also known as "air taxi" and is one of the core scenarios of low-altitude economy. After obtaining the production license,"air taxis" will achieve larger scale delivery and export more "made in China" to the global market. During this year's National Two Sessions, low-altitude economy was included in the government work report for the first time. Currently, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has formed a complete unmanned aerial vehicle supply chain.
