Recently, Wuhan Yiwei Energy Storage Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Yiwei Energy Storage") and Midea Group Wuhan Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Midea Wuhan Refrigeration") cooperated with Wuhan Midea's 12MWh distributed energy storage operation project was officially put into operation.

This project is Yiwei Energy Storage's first 10kV medium voltage grid-connected project in Central China. It is also the largest industrial and commercial user-side energy storage project invested and constructed by Yiwei Energy Storage in Wuhan, opening a new prelude to the user-side energy storage project in Central China.

Wuhan Midea's 12MWh distributed energy storage operation project is located in Midea's Wuhan refrigeration plant, with an installed capacity of 3.78MW/12MWh. It uses Yiwei lithium iron phosphate battery system and covers an area of approximately 480 square meters. The project adopts a cooperation model of contract energy management, which has functional values such as power peak shaving, peak clipping and valley filling, demand-side response, and demand management. While effectively improving the flexibility of power grid operation, it will also play an active role in power security and new energy consumption.

As the proportion of clean energy such as photovoltaics and wind power increases, the pressure on regional power supply peak regulation has become increasingly prominent. Wuhan Midea's 12MWh distributed energy storage operation project can effectively regulate power load. It can transfer peak-to-valley and peak-to-average electricity by more than 7 million kWh every year. In the first year, it can save peak-to-valley electricity bills for the plant area by approximately 2.6 million yuan. Combined with power dividend benefits such as demand-side response, it is a good economic demonstration.

In addition, Yiwei Energy Storage continues to practice the concept of green development. After the project is put into operation, it can save about 2840 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 7080 tons every year, which has good social and environmental benefits. After completion, the project will become an important energy-saving demonstration project for green factories in Wuhan City, and will provide more valuable exploration experience for the region to cope with energy structure transformation and explore optical storage demonstration plants.

In the future, under the guidance of the dual carbon goal strategy, Yiwei Energy Storage will continue to innovate more green, low-carbon, efficient and stable energy storage solutions, create more energy storage demonstration projects, accelerate the construction of new energy structures, and contribute to sustainable development for mankind. Make outstanding contributions.
